Frogs are fascinating creatures. There are over 4,700 species of frogs! They come in all sorts of colours and sizes.
They are found on every continent except Antarctica. Do you know that frogs don’t drink water with their mouths; they “drink” by absorbing water through their skin.
A frog completely sheads his skin about once a week after it pulls off the old dead skin and he usually eats it. It eats its own skin! Yuck.
Many of us first became acquainted with frogs in the Bible by reading about the plagues of Egypt, found in Exodus 8.
Phaoroh refused to let go the Children of Israel from slavery, so God sent a series of plagues upon the Egyptians.
One of the plagues as you know, was the raining of frogs. Can you imagine frogs on your head, inside your pots, in your bed, and inside your shower? Eeew!

Bible Prophecy in the Book of Revelation has this to say about three mysterious frogs:
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
Today, the three unclean spirits, which consists of Satan, the Apostate Protestant movement, are busy at work.
These three unclean spirits like frogs, has their roots of spiritualism grounded in the Garden of Eden. Satan attempted to deceive Eve by saying:
“Thou shalt not surely die.” With this statement by the devil, has laid the foundation for an evil belief system that has gripped most of Christianity down through the ages.
In Revelation 16:12, we read that the first unclean frog came out of the mouth of the Dragon. Now this refers to the deception by the Dragon, or Satan in the Garden of Eden.
“Thou shalt not surely die.”
This erroneous doctrine that a person’s soul is immortal, is almost universally received by the world.
Many believe that when someone dies, their soul goes immediately to heaven, or hell. This plants spiritualism deep upon most of humanity.
By believing this doctrine, millions of people have left themselves unable to shield themselves from the errors of spiritualism.
Through satan and his evil spirits they receive, as it were, communications from beyond the grave and accept them as genuine messages from loved ones.
The truth is, satan disguises himself as that dead person and uses trickery to fool gullible individuals into believing they are talking to a loved one who died.
The Catholic Church is acting contrary to what the Word of God says, because they have made prayers to the dead as part of their religious practices.
The church have made it known that worshippers can pray to hundreds of so-called dead saints. These people are dead in their graves, yet the Roman Church encourages its members to pray to them.
However, we know from the scriptures that the dead knows, and sees, and feels nothing at all. These misguided individuals say that their dead relatives are watching over them, Oh brethren, those are nothing more than demons.
However, God has given us a measuring stick that can be used to test truth.
The prophet Isaiah said, “To the law and to the testimony, if they speak not according to this Word, it is because there is no light in them.” Isaiah 8:20
It is foretold in the scriptures, in:
1 Timothy 4:1
“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.” 1 Timothy 4:1
When fortune tellers say that they commuicate with the dead, or some say they see ghosts, or some people hold seances to have conversations with dead people, this is all based upon the lie which satan is still using today, that the dead is not really dead.
The second unclean frog that is brought to our attention comes out of the mouth of the Beast.
There’s no question in the mind of the Apostle John, as to who the Beast is.
Any student of Bible prophecy will quickly identify this entity, as Rome. Students of history know that the Roman empire at its zenith, worship more than a thousand different false gods. Even the Caesars themselves were considered gods.
Ellen White has this to say:
“The worship of images and relics, the invocation of saints, and the exaltation of the pope are devices of Satan to attract the minds of the people from God and from His Son.”
Great Controversy, Page 35

It was the Roman empire that first introduced the concept of the Bishop of Rome. That is the formal title given to the individual we now know as the Pope.
Of course, it was also Romans who insulted, tortured, and then slew our Lord and Saviour upon a cruel cross. That was pagan Rome.
However, today Papal Rome continues the tradition of ancient pagan Rome by continuing the worship of false gods.
For example, Apollo, the sun god of the Romans, has several statues at the Vatican, including a giant one in the courtyard of the palace, which was sculpted by Michelangelo.
This beast power among other doctrinal lies, propagates the falsehood that the pope has the full authority to change God’s times and laws.
As we all know the days of the week are counted from Sunday through Saturday.
However, the Roman Catholic Beast has changed the order of God’s numbering to avoid using the seventh day as God’s Holy Sabbath.
The next frog in the lineup represents the dragon whose identity is without question.
The Book of Revelation once again informs us beyond a shadow of a doubt who is the dragon:
“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him” (Rev. 12:9).
The manifestations of spirits at seances and the influence of demons through mediums, fortune telling, and tea-leaf reading, are not to be taken lightly.
In no other way can Satan more effectively work to alienate people from God, and then plant his own banner in the soil of the soul, than through the corruptive influence of spiritualistic teaching.
Through spiritualism, the devil has through the centuries bound large masses of people to himself, and with it has shut out the influence of the gospel.
The fact is, spiritualism provides emotional involvement making it very seductive.
This is one reason why faith healers are so popular.
The technique of some of these faith healing pastors is to get the congregation into an emotional state with a combination heavy rhythmic beats to music, and shouts, and dancing.
Then after the worshiper is in the right frame of mind, the healing is introduced. It is all satanic!
The dragon’s approach is both intellectual and emotional. He takes the act of worship to a purely emotional sphere.
So through the ages spiritualism has progressed along these lines until today it is permeating much of Christianity.
The third and final representation of the spiritual frog is, the False Prophet.
The false prophet adds the weight of his influence to that of the dragon and the beast and adds insult to previous injury.
It must be remembered that all these powers are bent on defacing the image of the Creator.
Participants in this drama are sometimes earnest, sincere, but deluded men and women.
The largest and fastest growing religious movement to originate in the United States is the Pentecostal movement.
The Pentecostal movement emphasizes the gifts of the Spirit, and in specific, holds to a doctrine that demands all believers speak in a manner of tongue that departs from the plain understanding of the Bible.
In 1John 4:1, the Scripture admonishes us:
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”
(1John 4:1)
It must be understood that this false prophet was not always false.
The reformation was born of God, and the heroes of the reformation were Spirit-filled men, God-fearing men. Great men of the early protestant era such as: Luther, Huss, Jerome, Knox, and Calvin.

At this point in Christianity, the Reformation was under the guidance of a true prophet, but the prophet became false when the Reformation ceased its pursuit of the will of God, and contented itself with echoing the doctrine of the dragon.
One if the dragon’s doctine is the doctrine of immortality of the soul, and also the doctrine of Sunday sacredness.
It is Protestantism’s refusal to continually renew herself through Bible study and the pursuit of truth, that has made her become the false prophet.
Had Protestantism been true to her trust, there would be no need for a Seventh-day Adventist Church, especially in these last days.
On a worldwide basis Seventh-day Adventism challenges the doctrine of the dragon and Biblically refutes the teaching of, “When you die you shall not surely die.”
Seventh-day Adventism strongly teaches the eternity of the law of God, including the sacredness of the seventh day, the Sabbath.
God’s Holy Law along with the love of God, must be central in the life of every Christian.
Because of our Bible based doctrines, our church is at war with the doctrine of the beast.
Further more, Seventh-day Adventism teaches the priestly ministry of our Lord in His sanctuary, and because of that, sin is being fully and finally being cleansed from mankind in the courts of heaven above.
This is opposite to the doctrine of the beast power who says that there is still an earthly priesthood to which a person can go to for the remission of sins.
The Roman Catholic church teaches that a human being, a priest can forgive sins. It’s interesting that this false religion calls those priests, Father.
Ellen White has this to say:
“This degrading confession of man to man is the secret spring from which has flowed much of the evil that is defiling the world and fitting it for the final destruction.”
Great Controversy Chapter 35

The Spirit of prophecy also says this:
“Papists place crosses upon their churches, upon their altars, and upon their garments.
Everywhere is seen the insignia of the cross.
Everywhere it is outwardly honored and exalted.
But the teachings of Christ are buried beneath a mass of senseless traditions, false interpretations, and rigorous exactions.”
Seventh-day Adventism then, is not just another religion. Through this church God would repair the damage made by the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet.
As we concluded, we are reminded that Revelation 16: 13 and 14 describes three frogs which “are the spirits of devils, working miracles.” The three frogs are:
- The Dragon
“And the great dragon was cast out, that old SERPENT, called the DEVIL, and SATAN, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” Revelation 12:9 - The Beast
Seventh-day Adventists believe that the Roman Catholic Church will fulfill the prophecy of the first beast of Revelation 13 whose “deadly wound is healed.” - The False Prophet
Seventh-day Adventists also believe that most Protestant churches reflect the image of the Roman beast by holding Sunday sacredness.

Ellen White: Early Writings, Chapter 65, Pages 383, 384
“Soon I saw the saints suffering great mental anguish. They seemed to be surrounded by the wicked inhabitants of the earth. Every appearance was against them.
Some began to fear that God had at last left them to perish by the hand of the wicked. But if their eyes could have been opened, they would have seen themselves surrounded by angels of God.
Next came the multitude of the angry wicked, and next a mass of evil angels, hurrying on the wicked to slay the saints.
But before they could approach God’s people, the wicked must first pass this company of mighty, holy angels. This was impossible.
The angels of God were causing them to recede and also causing the evil angels who were pressing around them to fall back.
It was an hour of fearful, terrible agony to the saints. Day and night they cried unto God for deliverance. To outward appearance, there was no possibility of their escape.
The wicked had already begun to triumph, crying out, “Why doesn’t your God deliver you out of our hands? Why don’t you go up and save your lives?”
But the saints heeded them not, Like Jacob, they were wrestling with God. The angels longed to deliver them, but they must wait a little longer; the people of God must drink of the cup and be baptized with the baptism.
The angels, faithful to their trust, continued their watch. God would not suffer His name to be reproached among the heathen.
The time had nearly come when He was to manifest His mighty power and gloriously deliver His saints.
For His name’s glory He would deliver every one of those who had patiently waited for Him and whose names were written in the book.”
